Why?
Read the room you are in, away from a radiator, a window and direct sun. Humidity matters as much as temperature: at 21 °C, going from 35 % to 70 % clearly changes how it feels. The two fields are independent — a thermo-hygrometer shows both side by side.
Why?
"Run hot" = easily bothered by heat — the exact antonym of "run cold", which feels the cold quickly. With nothing selected, the calculation runs in neutral mode. Each pill is a toggle: click the active pill again to go back to neutral.

If you have an outdoor thermometer or a personal weather station, your reading beats the forecast: it comes from your own place. Leave blank to use the weather service. Measure in the shade, sheltered from wind and away from walls — a thermometer in direct sun can read 10 °C too high.
